| take me to the river |
and I will drink the clear clean water for to quench my thirst and I shall watch the ferry-boats and theyll get high on a bluer ocean against tomorrow's sky and I will never grow so old again Sweet Thing, Van Morrisson
Photo taken whilst cruising along The River Stour with fab friends on a boat. "I was moving!" is an excuse! =)Etiquetas: bournemouth, van morrisson |

Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my open ears exciting and inviting me Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns Across The Universe, The Beatles
An old photo, textured and edited. Unsatisfied with the result (it's not as aged as I wanted it to be) but will do for now.Etiquetas: edit, sepia, the beatles |

it won't do to stir a deep desire, to fan a hidden fire that can never burn true.
i know your name, i know your skin I know the way these things begin but I don't know how I would live with myself what I'd forgive of myself
if you don't go.
It won't do to dream of caramel to think of cinnamon
and long for you. Caramel, Suzanne Vega
Because most of the time, giving up 'it's so bad, it's so good' stuff turns out to be the really good stuff. It takes two to tango - one to lead and another to let go.Etiquetas: food, suzanne vega |

| a tribute |
so you think you can tell heaven from hell, blue skies from pain can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? a smile from a veil? do you think you can tell? and did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? hot ashes for trees? hot air for a cool breeze? cold comfort for change? and did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
What have you found? the same old fears Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd
Just because it's Mom's day this Sunday and I'm missing my Mommy very much. 6000 miles is a long way, but love (and technology!) makes it feel like she's just down the road. Here's for all the mothers, whose arms we all still think of as home.Etiquetas: b/w, green park, pink floyd |

| just because it's v-day tomorrow |
i've been roaming around i was looking down at all i see painting faces building places i can't reach you know that i could use somebody
someone like you and all you know and how you speak countless lovers undercover of the street
you know that i could use somebody someone like you Use Somebody, Kings of Leon
I know, I know, I'm not one who usually conforms to this holiday... but the faint sparkle of snow last night just made me miss joyful summer. I loved watching these two random people in Hyde Park. I wonder how they are now, as I wonder how couples I know have been. Love is a bizarre cycle after all and you don't really know what you're gonna get or what it really means until you find someone to show you. Nonetheless, here's something to make you smile and remember how good it feels to know what it is.Etiquetas: kensington gardens, kings of leon, summer |
